An afternoon tea was hosted by Jacqueline Wilson Independent Funeral Services for The Ladies section of The Royal British Legion Tarporley Branch, to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.
A wonderful afternoon was had by all, with fifty ladies and gentlemen attending. Afternoon tea was delicious and then this was followed by an organ recital and a good old sing along! The raffle was a huge success, with lots of lucky winners getting some fabulous prizes.
The whole event raised a grand total of £373.00, which is to be sent to the British Legion Benevolent Fund in London. A floral arrangement was presented to the President , May Stewart M.B.E.
Thankyou to everyone who came and supported this event,
